Following a detailed fitting process at our Ringwood Showroom, Briggins Clothiers makes your one-of-a-kind suit in partnership with a specialist workshop in Shanghai, China. Up to 95% of our garments and accessories are handmade in the same workshop to ensure quality and consistency.
Our custom suits and shirts are all finished in our master tailoring room, here in Ringwood. This process ensures high-quality garments, a perfect fit and quick turnaround, whilst representing excellent value for our clients.
Custom, or tailored, suits and shirts are made to your unique measurements and design. This means that you can select the fabric, style, and even finer details such as buttons and stitching. Most importantly, a custom suit is one-of-a-kind, so it is as unique as you are.
Briggins suits are made from 100% Australian wool and quality blend fabrics. Using only the finest quality fabrics available, natural Australian wool will be warm in winter, but breathable and cool in summer. Wool is also easy to care for and incredibly soft and luxurious.
In 2019, we became industry leaders by offering a perfectly fitted suit, designed just for you. Our blend of modern measuring techniques and traditional expert tailoring from our in-house tailors provides exceptional quality, fit, and consistency every time. During a brief visit to our Ringwood Showroom, our in-house experts will take precise measurements in a matter of minutes.
From your initial consultation through to completion, it takes 4-6 weeks to design, make and fit a custom suit.

Congratulations on buying a one-of-a-kind Briggins suit. Here are some tips for keeping your garment in great condition so that it lasts wear-after-wear. We recommend that you have your suit professionally cleaned once a year, professionally pressed once a month, and steamed (in your bathroom) once a week. To avoid unnecessary damage and wear, avoid driving in your suit jacket, and do not keep keys, phones or wallets in your suit pant pockets.
We know that sometimes accidents happen, so you may wish to have repairs made to your custom suit from time to time. Our in-house tailors are available to do repairs by consultation. Please call 1300 452 251 or email info@briggins.com.au for further information and assistance with repairs.
